Gold bullion is simply (in currency or in a bar), where only the value of gold is being considered and (in the case of coins), the collector value is not being considered. Gold bars are usually slightly cheaper than the coins because they have no collector value and never will. Personally, I continue with the coins, because they may have a collector value and are generally easier to sell than bars. Here is the list of websites price of a major distributor of bullion.
