What's in your sauce to make it special?
Today, I only use the tomatoes, olive oil, pasta, seasonings and then made and the family eats. I want a sauce that tastes great .... Like WOW! Someone told me I should buy the bullet and put the onions, peppers and garlic in it then add a good can of tomatoes ... Perhaps the weekends I can spend more time with a good sauce to eat during the week .. Do you use sugar? or cubes of gold? or cream cheese?
besides the usual tomatoes, onions, olive oil, I love adding roasted garlic, a glass of good wine full-bodied red, a pinch of sugar and lots of oregano. always divine, especially if you let it simmer for a while.
